Cap City Beer Fest wouldn’t be possible without the help of volunteers! Please review the volunteer descriptions below for more information about time, expectations, and incentives.

Set Up & Load In
9:00 am–12:00 pm
- Assist with unloading supplies and vendor materials
- Set up tables, tents, signage, décor, and barricades
- Organize registration and merchandise areas
- Place trash/recycling stations throughout venue
- Ensure sponsor signage is properly displayed
- Assist vendors with unloading and setting up their spaces
Must be able to lift and carry up to 40 pounds as needed.
Barbacks
First Shift 12:00–3:00 pm
Second Shift 2:30–5:30 pm
- Keep booths clean and stocked with supplies
- Deliver water, ice, or additional supplies
- Run water from hose; run pitchers from water jug to booths
- Serve as point-of-contact for booth needs
Must be able to lift and carry up to 40 pounds as needed.
Check-In/Registration & Merch
12:45–3:45 pm
- Welcome guests and provide event information
- Scan tickets or check guests in by name
- Distribute wristbands, tasting glasses, shirts, and bags
- Assist with VIP and sponsor check-in
- Troubleshoot ticketing questions
- FAQs & answer list available
Break Down & Load Out
3:45–6:45 pm
- Break down tables, signage, and event equipment
- Collect trash and recyclables
- Assist vendors with load-out
- Ensure venue is left clean
